Letter from Rick

My story isn’t a political one. It’s a Georgia story.

I never knew my father. I was raised by a mother struggling with alcoholism. I spent part of my childhood in public housing and moved through five foster homes. Nothing was handed to me. From a young age, I learned that if I wanted something, I had to work for it.

I worked my way up from nothing and built Jackson Healthcare into a Georgia-based company that now operates in all 50 states, serves more than 20 million patients each year, and generates over $3 billion in annual revenue.

I don’t share that to brag — I share it because it shaped how I see leadership and responsibility.

I’ve never forgotten where I came from or who I was working for.

When China threatened to cut off America’s antibiotic supply, I stepped in to save the last major antibiotic manufacturer in the United States, sacrificing millions because American lives mattered more than profits. When COVID hit Georgia, Governor Brian Kemp called me directly to help supply doctors and nurses, and I made sure Georgia came first.

I believe leadership isn’t about speeches or political careers. It’s about action, accountability, and results.

That’s why I’m running for Governor — to cut the income tax, freeze property taxes, lower costs for families, secure our state, and make Georgia the most affordable state in America.

Let’s Win Big For Georgia!
